I'm gonna be planning a trip to New York pretty soon here, any suggestions on fun things to do? Or any good stores to shop?

  1. I think you've got to check out Macy's in Herald Square and then Bloomingdales at E. 59th. You could window-shop in places like Tiffany's and Saks 5th Avenue. Downtown near Delancey Street you can get designer stuff at good discounts. Many of those stores are closed on Saturday because they are run by Orthodox Jews.
    Fun things? Depends what kind of fun. NYC has everything!

  2. China Town rocks. If you are going to be there for a while I suggest that you do not neglect the Upstate NY area! If you take a hopper flight from JFK you can get there in 20 minutes. They have the 1000 islands with steam boat tours and 2 castles to see and to go into. There is singer castle and Boldt castle. There is bungee jumping water skiing, world class fishing. Bonnie castle resort is an awesome hotel to stay at. If you do not take in the nature of Northern NY then you really can't say you have really been to NY at all!
